We are authorized by all employers’ liability insurance associations and accident insurance funds to carry out first aid training and further training for company first aiders and can settle the course fees directly with the accident insurance providers.
In order for us to be able to settle accounts with the BG or the accident insurance fund, we need the original registration form for training for company first aiders filled out in advance.
DGUV regulation 1 (§26) states that at least the following number of company first aiders must be available to provide first aid:
1. one first aider for 2 to 20 insured persons present
2. if more than 20 insured persons are present:
a) in administrative and commercial enterprises 5 percent,
b) in other enterprises 10 percent,
c) in day-care centers one first aider per group of children,
d) in universities 10 percent of the insured persons according to section 2 para.

More information
First aid saves lives. This practical course prepares you for emergencies in real-life situations and focuses on medical, organizational and care measures for sick or injured people using simple tools. Learn effective measures to avert or mitigate acute health and life-threatening situations.
The pure course duration is 6 hours and 45 minutes (9 teaching units). Including breaks, a course lasts 7 hours and 30 minutes.
Incidentally, you don’t need any preparation to take part, as all first aid courses are basic courses. We teach you all the basics of emergency medicine that are needed to save lives. Life-saving immediate measures and behavior at the scene of an accident are dominant topics in first aid courses. Theoretical knowledge is also deepened in part through practical exercises.
First aid courses now only last 1 day and are also worthwhile for the participant in the long term in everyday life. During the first aid course, every participant learns how to save lives from competent first aiders with a wealth of experience, while receiving comprehensive information on all aspects of preclinical help in an emergency.
However, first aid courses should not only be attended once, as unused knowledge is quickly forgotten. We therefore recommend attending first aid courses at regular intervals. First aid courses enable you to be prepared for emergencies. Without a course, most people are unprepared for emergencies and therefore often unable to save lives in an emergency.
You can find more information on the course schedule and content on our page for course content page. You can also take a look at our FAQ.
