FAQ

Below you will find answers to some of the questions about the first aid course that we regularly receive.
You can find more information about the first aid course in our course content section .

Course registration

To register, simply select a date on the course page and fill in the registration form.
You will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail.

BG/UK settlement

To settle your account via the BG or UK, simply book your course date as normal and bring your billing form filled out and signed by the company with you on the day of the course (in the original).
The form is then your payment 🙂

Alternatively, you or your company can pay the course fee yourself.

Educational and care facilities

First aid courses for educational and childcare facilities are special first aid courses for age-appropriate first aid for children and infants in care.

In the professional environment of employees at daycare centers (crèche, kindergarten, after-school care) and primary school teachers, such training and regular further training in first aid are part of occupational health and safety and are prescribed as preventive measures.

We currently offer such courses as in-house courses for groups of 12 or more in educational and care facilities, but not for individuals.

Here you can request an in-house course!

Course duration

The first aid course contains 9 teaching units of 45 minutes each and lasts a total of 7.5 hours with breaks.

Replacement certificate

No problem!
You have the option of ordering a second certificate from us within 2 years. You can apply for a replacement certificate here.

Period of validity of the certificate

The law no longer stipulates a validity period for learner drivers.
It is advisable to contact the relevant driving license office (for Munich, see here).
A first aid certificate for company first aiders is valid for 2 years.

Eye test

An eye test is required to obtain your driving license – categories A, A1, B, BE, M, L and T.

You are welcome to book an eye test with us on site.

In Munich, some opticians also offer eye tests for driving licenses.
Public health officers and ophthalmologists also carry out this test.

The test takes a few minutes.
The result is recorded by the eye test center on a certificate for the driving school.

Passport photos

A biometric passport photo is required for driving licenses, ID cards and passports.
These can be obtained from photo studios or photo machines.
It is also possible to take and print out biometric passport photos yourself.

We currently do not offer passport photos.

Dress code

Sturdy clothing and non-slip shoes are recommended.
We cannot be held liable for any damage to or caused by clothing (e.g. shoes).

There is also a lunch break (30 minutes).
We do not pay for food, please bring your own.

Practical exercises

The practical exercises are an essential part of the training and are required by law, which is why all course participants must take part in them.
Without successful practical exercises, we are not allowed to issue you with a certificate.

Please arrive on time.
We are not allowed to let you in after the advertised course start time, as the prescribed lesson time would no longer be adhered to.
This also applies if you return late from the break or leave the course early.
